Building homes since 1995

Locally owned family business, Geelong Homes was established in 1995 at a time when there was a genuine need for beautifully built homes at an affordable price. An offshoot of Hamlan, Geelong Homes was developed as an affordable housing alternative to the high-end coastal homes that Hamlan builds—but with the same quality and attention to detail. Geelong Homes emerged proudly carrying the Geelong name and promising to give the Geelong market a new trustworthy and affordable builder.

Many things have changed in the years that have passed. We’ve become Geelong’s largest local builder—rebranding and branching out from Hamlan with our head office on LaTrobe Terrace, which sits proudly in the heart of Geelong overlooking The Cats’ home ground. We also now service the greater Geelong region and beyond, building homes across the Bellarine Peninsula, the Surf Coast up to Werribee, down to Apollo Bay, Colac and Ballarat. But despite this growth, our core values have remained the same. We continue to strive towards using the best local trades and local suppliers. And we are still committed to building the highest quality home at the most affordable price.

We’ve remained a mainstay in Geelong’s building market, because we are Geelong, local people who live and breathe the lifestyle that our great region has to offer.
