Introducing: our newest range plus our first double-storey designs

As the Geelong and Surf Coast regions grow and change, so do we. Our latest Geelong Homes brochure has revealed a whopping 14 new designs — our answer to the growing demands of our region. What’s even more exciting is this includes a new Terrace Range, plus Geelong Homes’ first ever double-storey home designs.

“We’ve built local homes for local people for more than 20 years and plan to continue to do so for many more years to come,” says Andrew Carroll, Geelong Homes general manager.

“Our region is growing. We’re finding that with more land releases across Geelong and the Surf Coast, there’s now more variety and choice when it comes to block size. There’s a growing need for family homes on smaller blocks, investors seeking quality homes for subdivisions, and people identifying that knockdown rebuilds are an affordable alternative to a renovation.

“Our new designs are our answer to these demands, and we can’t wait to start building these new homes for people across Geelong and the Surf Coast.”

Terrace Range

Geelong Homes’ new Terrace Range

We’re so excited to introduce our new Terrace Range. This range consists of three dual occupancy designs, two of which are double storey.

Firstly, the Fenwick 168, which offers stylish terrace living in a compact dual occupancy design. Suitable for a wider frontage, the Fenwick consists of two mirrored three bedroom, two bathroom terrace style homes. These homes are a comfortable size and include two separate living spaces — a secluded lounge can be found to the front of the home, while an open plan kitchen, meals and living area at the rear of the home opens out to an alfresco. The kitchen features a walk-in pantry plus an island bench.

The Coronation 198 is ideal for investors seeking a dual-occupancy home. This design will appeal to renting families or young professionals wanting a little more space. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms plus two living spaces and a study nook. It’s got a spacious u-shaped kitchen plus walk-in pantry — ideal for those who love to entertain. Storage is a big drawcard in this home.

But for those wanting that little bit more — the Coronation 211 takes it up a notch. This is a four-bedroom dual occupancy design perfect for investors and families wanting two separate zones. The large master bedroom includes an ensuite and plenty of storage with both a built-in robe and walk-in robe. The U-shaped kitchen has extra bench space to prepare meals and a walk-in pantry. Sliding doors from the meals area open out to a private courtyard. The first floor creates a kids zone with three further bedrooms, the main bathroom, the rumpus as well as a study nook.

Essential Range gets nine outstanding new designs

Our Essential Range has always been popular with our clients — but its nine new designs will only broaden its appeal. Included is the already released Macarthur designs, which are perfect for blocks with a wide frontage.

In addition there’s the Camden designs — the Camden 139 and the Camden 142 — both suitable for a subdivided block or blocks with a shorter depth. These three-bedroom, two-bathroom homes are compact yet clever in their designs. Using space-saving elements, such as European laundries and storage, to create a functional home to enjoy.

The Clarence designs — the Clarence 132 and the Clarence 140 — are also two great designs that could sit perfectly on a subdivided block or a block with a shorter length. The Clarence 132 is a three-bedroom, two-bathroom while the Clarence 140 is a four-bedroom, two-bathroom. These homes will appeal to savvy investors who want homes that have all the conveniences that appeal to potential home buyers or renters.

An exciting addition to our Essentials Range is the double-storey Noble designs — the Noble 191, the Noble 196 and the Noble 224 RL. The Noble designs are an excellent choice for those wanting a big family home for a smaller block. They are all four-bedroom, two-bathroom designs with excellent storage solutions. The Noble 196 has an added upstairs rumpus room — creating a distinct kids zone for bigger families.

The Noble 224 RL — is reversed living at its best — making it the ideal holiday home for those who have blocks with great views. With the main bedroom suite, kitchen and open living area upstairs, and a lounge room and remaining bedrooms downstairs — it’s an outstanding layout that the whole family can enjoy.

There’s also been one upgrade to one of our popular Essential Range floorplans — the Bickford 174. A slight change to its kitchen design — including a walk-in pantry — has added more than 1sqm to its overall floor space.

More homes for the Compact Range

There’s two new additions to our compact range — the Yarra 119 and the Yarra 139 — and both are clever designs that make the most of every inch of space.

The Yarra 119 is designed for small blocks and its two-bedroom, one-bathroom design makes it the ideal size and price point for downsizers and first home buyers.

The Yarra 139 takes it a step further and has three bedrooms, two bathrooms and two distinct zones between the bedrooms and the living space. The open plan kitchen and living area at the rear of this home creates a light-filled space that’s well-connected to the outdoors.
